I hate computers

I just spent a half hour writing my blog "A few concerns...." about the changes to the Motor Vehicle Act. I saved it, published it and then went to make sure it was on the blog. I clicked on www.cjchhotline.blogspot.com and guess what? It's just a blank entry. There goes a half hour of my life I'll never get back. GRRRRRRRRRRR. Why on a Monday?? Why?

I'll give you the Coles Notes now, because I've got to get to some other work:

-you can't legislate everything, people have to have some personal responsibility for their actions
-you can't leave it up to police to do everything, maybe the fines/jail times should be increased in order to increase deterrence that way
-they aren't criminalizing running someone down in a crosswalk, they're just increasing the fines, it's still just a cash grab and people will not go to jail for killing someone in a crosswalk, that's not right

And there was some other stuff, but I'm frustrated with this stupid thing now. Blah.

I'll write more tomorrow, but I can't promise it will appear on the World Wide Web!!!

Cheers,

Amber

Hello Amber
I thought I was the only one who growled..GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

You sound like you didn't have a good morning. Sometimes typical Mondays....better to get whatever out of the way straight up...Do it on a Monday..get it over with....

Hopefully the rest of your week goes much better.

I feel sorry for some of these squiggy kids....first of all they are somebody's kids. To the guy who called them all a bunch of lazy arseholes and they should get a real job. Does he not realize how many kids are leaving here because they can't get a job in Halifax or NS...jobs just arn't there like they were when this guy was working in the 50s 60s70s....he sounded like a very bitter man...

Back to the kids...they or some of them it is their only source of income...they have fallen through the cracks...yes there are some who are professional con artist...and that type are in every profession....including leaders of the city, province and nations....
We give the government money in the form of taxes without too much flack...a lot of grumbling on our part but we pay the taxes...these people are so called educated and trained professionals who screw the public everyday...

These squigy kids are far less dangerous to the public than the very people we give our hard earned taxdollars to..the governments....

Rodney Mac's colorful broucher was another waste of our tax dollars.....giving a looney or a toonie to someone who is actually providing a service is not a waste. Its doing something for someone..

People should stop and remember that these kids are someone's son or daughter who may very well need what dollars they can get.....just to survive cold nights in Halifax.

Picture yourself giving a buck or two on a cold morning or evening to a person in need.
Now picture yourself giving to Rodney the same loonie/toonie...

Merry Christmas folks

Give if you can
